I’m a New Yorker, though thankfully not the kind allergic to leaving the city.
I’ve found that the best trips rarely begin with an itinerary. They usually start when one of us finally says, “You know what? Let’s actually go.”
Maybe it’s that restaurant you’ve been talking about for years, or a city you’ve always wanted to see.
Personally, I’m happy anywhere there’s something delicious to eat, a little culture to get lost in, and the possibility of ending up somewhere entirely unexpected. Preferably with the wind in my hair and no particular reason to check the time.
I love wandering through museums, discovering the little places that never make the guidebooks, and occasionally deciding that the hotel room is a perfectly good destination in itself. I do have strong opinions about where we should eat, though I’m willing to be persuaded.
Whether I’m coming to you or we’re discovering somewhere new together, I think we’ll have a wonderful time.
